While most brands are playing the color card off late, Chanel has decided to step back in time and go monochrome instead. In proving that a mix of hues is not the solution each time, the marquee has recently unveiled its uber luxe makeup collection for the fall of 2019. Inspired by the symbolic black and white shades of the Chanel logo, the new ensemble drips with the style and elegance that you truly need this season.
Christened as the ‘Noir Et Blanc de Chanel’, the makeup collection features essential colorless, yet glamorous pieces inspired by the life of Gabrielle Chanel who once said – “Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” The exclusive ensemble is created by Lucia Pica, the House’s Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer, and is already being touted as one of the most glamorous make-up offerings by the marquee to date.
In all, the ‘Noir Et Blanc de Chanel’ consists of a gel eye shimmer, two new shimmery top coats, two eyeliners and nail enamel shades (in black and white, of course), a mascara, two new eyeshadow boxes and two new shades each of the Rouge Allure Liquid Powder lipsticks, Velvet Powder lipsticks, and the famed Rouge Coco Gloss.
The collection will be available for purchase online as well as in Chanel boutiques worldwide, onward August 5.
