Do you Love Wine Enough to Soak in it?

Are you looking to celebrate your Christmas a little bit differently this year? Well, if you are going to be in the UK, you just might have this wish come true. SpaSeekers is offering a Mulled Wine Spa experience, complete with a wine-themed body scrub and massage.

A visit to the spa will see you soaking in a hot tub filled with mulled wine at a temperature of 37 degrees, with treatments inspired by some of the flavours and ingredients used to create the drink, and of course, a complimentary glass of the same sweet liquid to top it all off. According to the spa, the hot wine tub has been carefully blended to reduce acidity and treated to create a safe and neutral PH … reducing inflammation [and allowing] the pores to open, releasing toxins and allowing your skin to embrace the tannins in the mulled wine.” It also claims that the orange, cinnamon and star anise offer a “high level of antioxidants,” ideal for a detox in time for the festive season.

If you are not comfortable with soaking in a hot tub of wine, however, you can go for the 45-minute Frankincense massage, or a body scrub using brown sugar, cinnamon and orange, that “is the perfect way to bring blood flow back to the skin and leave you glowing.”

The Mulled Wine Spa experience would be offered first at the Shrigley Hall at their Bazaar Spa & Silk Garden in the heart of Cheshire and starts from £60 per person.
