Osun started out in the most casual manner; two friends were sitting in a living-room having a glass of red wine, talking about their passion for fashion alongside other things  and alas! the idea was birthed.

Being women from a mix of different cultural backgrounds and living in the very cosmopolitan city of London, surrounded by people from diverse countries, they decided to use that cultural richness to offer something new, bold and colorful that represents women and their versatility.

Being inspired by Oshun, known as Ochún or Oxúm in Latin America, but spelled as Ọṣun; the deity of luxury and pleasure, sexuality, beauty and love, the brand intentionally seeks to produce high quality outfits while being ethical, putting the earth and people at the core of their business.

Osun was created by women and for women. They create timeless pieces that feel comfortable yet are unique and sophisticated, and they are all about slow fashion which is why they meticulously create every piece with durability in mind.

Printmaking is an age-old tradition shared by many parts of the world and the founders are huge fans of prints. They often collaborate with local artists to produce items that stand out.

As a fashion brand, they believe that they have a responsibility towards the people they work with and the planet, which means making pieces using non toxic inks, premium quality materials made to last, and that don’t hurt the earth. It also means having open source supply chains that keeps evolving.
