ASPIRE Luxury Magazine in partnership with celebrity fashion designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, organised a private viewing event for an exclusive guest list to showcase his new collection and haute couture pieces. This was following a stunning showcase of his Autumn/Winter 2018 collection at the recently concluded Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

As South Africa’s most loved and respected designer – dressing Media Superstar Bonang Matheba, Media Darling Minnie Dlamini at her recent wedding, a variety of international celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian and Kelly Rowland. Gert-Johan Coetzee is known for his exquisite couture gowns and high voltage red carpet dresses featuring detailed craftsmanship, dramatic silhouettes and delicate hand beadwork.

Hosted by Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, C.E.O of DO.II Designs and Ego Boyo, C.E.O of Temple Productions and President of the International Women’s Society (IWS). The intimate event held at Ifeyinwa Ighodalo’s beautiful home.

Ifeyinwa Ighodalo’s home was the perfect backdrop for the A/W 2018 Collection. It was a breathtaking statement of beauty and elegance with an array of bespoke fresh floral arrangements of orchids, hydrangeas, roses and calla lilies complemented by a forestry of greens courtesy of FlowerPlus.

The private viewing provided a unique opportunity for style and couture aficionados to meet with the designer, get close to his pieces, listen to him elucidate the inspiration for his new collection, and ultimately appreciate the finer details of the designer’s craftsmanship.

Veuve Clicquot ensured that the exclusive guest list of 30, enjoyed the finest champagne complemented with delicate canapes by Chef Fregz.
