Africa FinTech Foundry (AFF) is a pan-African accelerator aimed at inspiring, training, mentoring, and investing funding into growth stage technology startups operating primarily in the FinTech space.

The inaugural edition of the Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF) conference, “AFF Disrupt”, set to hold in Lagos on December 14, 2017, will positively impact the Nigerian economy.

AFF, which is supported by Access Bank, Microsoft, IBM and other technology majors, is part of efforts by its sponsors to promote FinTech- a new financial industry that applies technology to improve financial activities- in the country.

In his remarks, the Head, AFF, Mr. Victor Okigbo, said that the AFF was proof that the view in some quarters that Fintech and banks were rivals was a, “false narrative.”
He disclosed that there were plans to take the conference outside Lagos, adding that narration tours will be held Ife, Abuja and Kigali.
